509 Ellis Street. San Francisco
Large scale sculptures are hanging in the room, drawings big and small on the walls. The works are trying to capture my own vulnarebility and nakedness in the acceptance of being who I’am. Sometimes it’s scary to open up to all the aspects of yourself, which are not all pretty. The sculptures are very fragile constructions, made of different materials such as wood, yarn, textiles and foam. The materials are combined, so they make new constructions and constallations, where all the materials play their part to the whole. The elements of the sculptures can be viewed as different part of my own being, that I try to bring togheter in a new balance or symmetry. Almost all the works in the exhibition is symetric, as a mirror of the duality of all.
